Meet Kourageous Karter—a bright, determined 8-year-old boy who defied the odds after being diagnosed with HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy) at just 2 months old. Sent home on hospice, Karter’s story could have ended there—but instead, it was only the beginning.
Defying all odds, Karter held on with incredible strength—fighting day after day. Now, 8 years later, he’s thriving—enjoying life with his three siblings and family, attending school, and loving his daily standing sessions in the Zing MPS Stander both at home and in the classroom.

One in three children with Cerebral Palsy(CP) will develop progressive hip dysplasia, which can affect their ability to sit, stand or ambulate, as well as cause pain. Early detection and intervention with a hip surveillance program and standing in abduction may minimize the need for later procedures or surgeries and improve quality of life.
